Making Food for Our Family
Today, I was given a challenge to make my family pizza for dinner with some hot chips. Getting the pizza in and out of the oven was a really hard job for me to do because I kept burning myself. I had my nana helping me to so I won't get hurt. With the hot chips, I had to be very careful when I put them into the oil because the oil was very very hot and I knew it would burn me if it splashed me. Everyone said the food tasted like it had lots of cheese in it but they all liked it a lot. I know this because there was none left!

Rhythm Interactive
Today, after morning tea, we had Rhythm Interactive (Lucy & Johnny) to teach the seniors for a propose for why we are doing the drumming to the beat of the song or the rhythm and instead is saying English words, Johnny & Lucy used actions to speck words to us and we actually understand what they are saying. The reason why they used actions to speck, is because they said that using action is a bigger meaning then saying words and we should use action then saying the word alot.

Drinking Water in Schools - Paige, Jane, Jasmine
This is what Paige, Jasmine, and I did for drinking water in schools. We did an explanation for why drinking water in school would make us hydration or dehydration. Hydration means that your drinking enough water to help you to be healthy. Dehydration means that your not drinking enough water to help you be healthy. Dehydration makes you be grumpy, tried, hungry. If you want to check if your hydration, hold your hand and pinch you hand. If the skin goes down slowly and it leaves a small pump, it meaning that your hydrated but if it goes down quickly and it doesn't leave a pump it means that your not hydrated

Current Events - Nikki Hamblin and Abbey D'agostino
For Current Event, Nikki Hamblin and Abbey D'Agostino that showed team spirit through working together in a race and finishing the race together. This shows what sportsmanship is all about and what sportsmanship is truly about. Having team work and team spirit will put you in good situation and putting you into a higher stage and will be reconsigned with good team spirit. I think this kind of team spirit should be going on if someone have fallen over.

Provocation - Olympics Venues
L.I: TO consider both points of view / Opinion / Perspectives when forming an opinion.
To make our informed opinion we have to consider both side of the perspectives into forming a opinion. The question we have to answer was Should host countries have to spend so much money on building Olympic venues? I say no because once they build the venue for the Olympic games what would they use it for when the Olympic are over. My partner said yes because, It showcases the countries, it increases tourism and it bring money / Jobs opportunities to the who wants a job. We have picked a picture of a before and after pictures of the Beijing Olympic venue.

Attributing Images - Jane
Today, we have been learning how to attribute images by using google images. If you want to attributes this is how you do it. First you search up a person you want to look at. You go on search tools and look for a label for reuse. The reason why we have to attribute is because using the images normally is stealing but if your attribute is like say thank you to the person who design the photo.

Paralympics - Fundraiseing
Activity 2: It is very expensive for each of the Paralympic athletes to fly from New Zealand to Rio de Janeiro to compete. Most athletes have to fundraise in order to make the money that they need to go on the big trip. Recently, Harvey Norman announced that they will be helping to raise funds for the New Zealand Paralympic team. What could you do to help raise funds to support our amazing Paralympic athletes? On your blog, list 2 different ways in which you, your family or friends could raise money to support the athletes.
For a fundraising, I will plan for me and my family to do a Siva in front of people to get heaps of money for the raise and to sell Sausage sizzle.
Paralympics - Day seven
Activity 1: At the first ever Paralympic Games in Rome, the athletes competed in eight sports. Cycling was one of them. For the cycling event, two people compete together as a team – one of the people has a disability and the other does not. Here is a picture of a para-cycling team from New Zealand:
At the moment the most famous para-cycling team in New Zealand is comprised of two female athletes – Emma Foy and Laura Thompson. Emma is blind but Laura is not. Together they work as an amazing team. Imagine that you were asked to compete in a tandem cycling event and you had to choose one person to compete with. Who would it be? On your blog, tell us who you would compete with and why. If it was me, I would choose my son, Aronui because he’s pretty fast and very funny. He would make me laugh as we biked along and would be very supportive and encouraging! I know that I could trust him to be a good teammate. Who would you choose?
For the Paralympics, I would choose my young brother Malosi because he is very competitive for sports, He would be focus though out the games and I would be able to trust him to be a good teammate.

Writing the end of the story - Winter Learning Journey
( STARTING STORY )IMAGINE THAT YOU ARE SITTING IN THE CROWD AT THE OPENING CEREMONIES FOR THE RIO OLYMPICS THIS AUGUST. THE CEREMONY HAS JUST STARTED AND ALL OF THE OLYMPIC ATHLETES ARE PARADING AROUND THE STADIUM IN THEIR UNIFORMS WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN…
(Ending Story) BOOM! Boom! Boom!, a gun just fired into the crowd, it shot one of the Athletes. It shot Laren Boyle. She was on the ground, people are surrounding
her. Me and my friends go and see what did happen. I saw the person who shot her but I couldn't see the person who shot her but it looked like it was somebody from the USA. I went to go and chase her but I was too late. She ran really really fast. I went to see where she went but instead I had an idea that might really work. I gathered my friends up and told them the plan. When I look up she was just standing there just blending in the the fans. I went the the person but she just vanished in thin air. She sent me a letter saying to meet me up in the changing room and to by there just myself. I went into the changing room just to talk this person for the reasons why she did it. I went close to her, it look like she was wearing a masked that look like the person from the NZ team. I went to open her masked then......
This is one of my story that i wrote about the topic that i had to relate above my story. I had to write 10 - 20 long sentences. I think this is a interesting story to write about. What do you think who was the person behind the mask? Do you think you could finished the rest of the stroy? Write in the comment below.
Winter Learning Journey - Entertaining the Crowed

Winter Learning Journey - Rank the Uniforms
Today I was given a challenge to ranks these NZ Team Olympic uniform in order from 1 to 3.
Today I had to rank these NZ Team Olympic Uniform in order from 1 to 3. To first rank #1. The reason why choose that first because of the style and look. 2nd the reason why choose it to be #2 because it was matching and it had to sliver fern to represent New Zealand. #3 the reason why I choose it last because it looked like it was too ugly (no offence) but it had to have the silver fern to represent New Zealand.
Winter Learning Journey - Nelson Mandela

Imagine that you were alive in 1936 and you had the chance to interview her. On your blog, post five questions that you would like to ask the Olympic champion (if you had the chance to meet her!). Here is the 5 question to ask her if i was alive in 1936:
Who inspired you to go to the Olympics?
Were you allowed to go to the Olympic because of your age?
Were you still in school when it happens?Who was your coach?
How long was it to practice your moves?
Winter Learning Journey - Eddie the Eagle
This is movie is about Eddie the Eagle who is trying to be the best he can to ski at the Winter Olympics. He always believed in himself to be in the Olympics but everyone he knew thought he was joking around but he was really serious about the skiing. I think I would recommend that movie to everyone because it's about believing that he can do and he will do it.
