This Maria Tutaia. I think she go to the Olympics because she has hasn't been to the Olympic games cause the netball sport is not in the Olympic games.
You are right. Sadly, netball is not a sport that is played at the Olympics but, according to the International Olympic Committee site is a 'recognised' Olympic sport. I have to wonder, "What is the difference?"
Either way, I think that Maria is a very talented athlete and I hope that she has the chance to play in the Olympics one day!
