My time at the museum By Jane

My time at the museum.

Room 7,room 5 and 8 went on a trip to the museum for the day. We went in the museum and we saw some cool stuff. We had some parents to help. We all got into groups 4 and 5 to our parent and teachers. We put our bags in the cage and kept it they until lunch time. First we went with this woman that's work for the museum. We all talk about the pacific. We learned about Micronesian, Polynesia and Melanesian. 

Melanesian means dark skin, Polynesia means peaceful waters,and Micronesian means many islands. After that we went to this classroom that was full Samoan drum and different kind of instrument. We were on the mat sitting until the Samoan man told to us to stand up and go into boys and girls group. Once we were ready we sat down on the mat to listen to the man.

The Samoan man telling us to do when the drum is playing.             The man stopped playing the drum because it was the end of the lesson. The room 5 teacher was talking about us. When the teacher finished talking about us we went outside of the classroom and went down stairs to have our lunch. After lunch we went into our group and had a tour around the museum. 

My favorite part of the trip was the the volcano. The volcano was about when the volcano from the sea burst and the the land was covered the steam and Lava.My less favorite part was the scary volcano burst. We came back with sore legs from walking up the stairs. 

We back on the bus and went back to school.

A scary Night By Jane

A scary night.

I was in the room sleeping, and it was midnight. My mum and dad was sleeping, my sisters and brother was sleeping too. I wasn’t sure my older brother was sleeping too or  playing his games on the computer. The living room curtains were blowing from the wind. I was sleeping `until I heard some footsteps creaking on every step of the way.  I saw the doorknob turning and A cat was on me so I screamed so loud My mum and dad was running down the hallway. I got up and throw the cat off me and my sister was laughing until she cried. My mum and dad was saying to my brother to say sorry. My brother said sorry to me and we all went back to sleep and keeped my door locked so no one can come in the room and scare me again.

Duffy Theatre

Duffy Theater

After morning tea time we went to the hall to see this show. When we got in the hall there was a guy playing  crazy with his guitar. The show started when the guy stop playing the guitar. When the guy stop playing it, they introduce them to us and the actor named : Duffy, Uncle Bingo and Rosie.  Duffy was playing the king of book, Uncle Bingo was playing as A rugby player and Rosie was playing as a seven year old ballerina.

My favorite part was when Uncle bingo playing rugby and doing the ballet move from the book that he read on the plane and when he was on the plane talking on the phone when the air hostess telling him to turn his cell phone off but Uncle bingo was ignoring her still talking on the phone to Cinderella. When Uncle bingo finished talking on the phone he was reading the book that Rosie gave him has a present.

After when he finished scoring a try the Duffy and Rosie was talking about him scoring a try. 

The message is remember to read even though you don't want to.
