Book Week - Customises

 Today and this week, we had the whole school dressed up in a costume that was related to the book that we decided to customises. So I went as Oliver that was in Close Your Pretty Eyes. We did the a parade in the hall. While the parade, we had some visitors from Tamaki College and some from Panmure Library. Some people who got to dress up did an amazing work today.

Attributing Images - Jane

Today, we have been learning how to attribute images by using google images. If you want to attributes this is how you do it. First you search up a person you want to look at. You go on search tools and look for a label for reuse. The reason why we have to attribute is because using the images normally is stealing but if your attribute is like say thank you to the person who design the photo. 

Attributes - China

This is my attributes of the attractions in China. We also did how long it took from Auckland, New Zealand to China. It look 10418.62km to arrive Auckland, New Zealand, to China 

Location of Japan

This my DLO about the location about Japan.  We learnt about the continent that Japan is in.

This is my DLO about China. We did a language challenge that has the classic greeting that everybody uses that greet each other.

Remaining safe around water

Why do we have to be safe around water?

Because some people don’t know how to swim. When you’re in trouble you can always raise your hand above your head and yell out for help.

How might you get into trouble in the water?

Your can get into trouble around water by swimming alone. You can also get into trouble not realising how depth the water is and how the water behave. For example; You might not realise how fast the water is running.

This is my DLO about water safety. We have to write about how we can be safe and what not to do in the water. We had to write a paragraph about the information that we wrote in the thinking grid.
