Jane's Tiny Dragon Writing

As I stretched out on the warm grass, I felt a tickle on my fingertips. The dragon skin was rough and spiky. The dragon was steaming hot. When I stretched my warm arms, I saw children saying hello. The dragon was on the grass, wanting to stand and walk. When I got up, The dragon followed the smell that was coming from the kitchen. The dragon found something on the floor. He picked up that piece and ate it from the floor. When the dragon saw the piece from the floor he looked like he never eaten  before by the way he was eating. The dragon went outside and saw children playing and playing.  He went outside because the back door was wide open. I was wondering where the dragon was and he was in his cage sleeping.It was night time and the dragon was still sleeping in his cage. When the dragon was sleeping, he looked like he was really chilled and relaxed.

Space Dress By Jane

Film Festival By Jane

Film Festival.

This afternoon we went to the cinemas to watch other school's movie that they made. When Panmure Bridge School got to the cinemas, there was many schools sitting on the seats. We all settle down to watch movies. My favorite part of the film festival from Tamaki Collage, when five boys and girls had to compete each other to get to the other end of the field. They went running fast to get these toy weapons and try to hurt them with the weapons. One boy got a earphones and was struggling to untangle it. The other boys and girl were pretend to fight. While they fighting, two boys made it to the other end. The two boys started to fight and try taste the chocolate bar  from the bowl. They compete  each other and one boy got kill. So the boy had victory and had to taste the chocolate.

Jnr Culture Show By Jane.

 The culture show.

Today was the culture show. Room 1, 2, 3, and 4 did the show. It cool. The juniors came in the hall, while the drummer was playing. The juniors came in different kind of culture. The culture that the juniors did, was Samoa, Tonga, Cook Island, Fiji, and South Africa. The juniors was mixed up in different kind of cultures. They came in the hall as they were lined up in different cultures. They sang a greeting song for us. After the song, the juniors came and did a show. The first group was Samoa. Samoa was about White Sunday and told us what is white Sunday. The Samoan group went on stage and performed. The song they did was in Samoa.

If I could migrate anywhere in the world, I would choose to go to Samoa. I would love to learn about my culture my language.

My time at the museum By Jane

My time at the museum.

Room 7,room 5 and 8 went on a trip to the museum for the day. We went in the museum and we saw some cool stuff. We had some parents to help. We all got into groups 4 and 5 to our parent and teachers. We put our bags in the cage and kept it they until lunch time. First we went with this woman that's work for the museum. We all talk about the pacific. We learned about Micronesian, Polynesia and Melanesian. 

Melanesian means dark skin, Polynesia means peaceful waters,and Micronesian means many islands. After that we went to this classroom that was full Samoan drum and different kind of instrument. We were on the mat sitting until the Samoan man told to us to stand up and go into boys and girls group. Once we were ready we sat down on the mat to listen to the man.

The Samoan man telling us to do when the drum is playing.             The man stopped playing the drum because it was the end of the lesson. The room 5 teacher was talking about us. When the teacher finished talking about us we went outside of the classroom and went down stairs to have our lunch. After lunch we went into our group and had a tour around the museum. 

My favorite part of the trip was the the volcano. The volcano was about when the volcano from the sea burst and the the land was covered the steam and Lava.My less favorite part was the scary volcano burst. We came back with sore legs from walking up the stairs. 

We back on the bus and went back to school.

A scary Night By Jane

A scary night.

I was in the room sleeping, and it was midnight. My mum and dad was sleeping, my sisters and brother was sleeping too. I wasn’t sure my older brother was sleeping too or  playing his games on the computer. The living room curtains were blowing from the wind. I was sleeping `until I heard some footsteps creaking on every step of the way.  I saw the doorknob turning and A cat was on me so I screamed so loud My mum and dad was running down the hallway. I got up and throw the cat off me and my sister was laughing until she cried. My mum and dad was saying to my brother to say sorry. My brother said sorry to me and we all went back to sleep and keeped my door locked so no one can come in the room and scare me again.

Duffy Theatre

Duffy Theater

After morning tea time we went to the hall to see this show. When we got in the hall there was a guy playing  crazy with his guitar. The show started when the guy stop playing the guitar. When the guy stop playing it, they introduce them to us and the actor named : Duffy, Uncle Bingo and Rosie.  Duffy was playing the king of book, Uncle Bingo was playing as A rugby player and Rosie was playing as a seven year old ballerina.

My favorite part was when Uncle bingo playing rugby and doing the ballet move from the book that he read on the plane and when he was on the plane talking on the phone when the air hostess telling him to turn his cell phone off but Uncle bingo was ignoring her still talking on the phone to Cinderella. When Uncle bingo finished talking on the phone he was reading the book that Rosie gave him has a present.

After when he finished scoring a try the Duffy and Rosie was talking about him scoring a try. 

The message is remember to read even though you don't want to.

Going to the Hospital

In the holidays I went to the hospital to see my twin sister June. I went with my baby brother, my mum and my grandad. We were on our way to hospital. When we got their my nana was there waiting for us and June was in her ward sleeping because she had an operation. When my mum stopped the car my nana brought out my baby brothers pram and got the baby out from his car seat and put him in the pram. I told my nana that we brought lunch and we are eating where June is. When we got there June was awake from her operation but the doctor put too much medicine on her so when we talk to her, she fell asleep. When she woke up I have take my little baby brother for a walk around the ward to make him go to sleep. We came back and he was asleep and we were about to go home. We got the stuff that we need to  take home . My nana walked us to the car with my grandad and left June behind and she was still asleep. We went in the car and I was crying because I missed my nana at home. So we went home and had a rest.

Term 2 Reflection By Jane

This term in the past nine week have we been learning lots of work

In our writing we have been learning to elaborate in our writing. We have been learning to use complex and conjunction. We have been taking risk in writing. We have been learning about endangered animal. 

In reading we been finding information online and in book. We have been reading e-books online. Now we have been reading up to 20:00.

In kiwi sport we have been learning soccer from Ben. We have been learning to dribbling a ball and doing warn up games. Also we have been learning to juggle.

My favorite part of the term was reading e-books online.

My Trip to Botanical Gardens

Sarah told us that she was taking us in a forest but she was taking us to a special classroom the next to the place were we had morning tea. We went in the classroom and there was interesting things inside. we all sat down in a circle. We learnt some things  that we haven't learnt that  and haven't know before. It was the time to go in the forest. It was my first time going in to the forest . It has been a long time  to walk the classroom to the forest. Finally we are at the forest. It has been a long time to get to the forest. We walk though the forest. As we walked though the forest we got into pairs. when we finished getting into pair, Sarah gave us a mirror to look on. We have to put the mirror on our noses and look on it. We look on it and felts like we are it the top of the trees and felt like we were falling from the trees.
