Reflection on the production
What is the storyline of your production about?
Rangi Sky Father and Papa Earth Mother decided to send their four sons to look at the New Earth. A storm hit and Aoraki fall on a stone and he got up and the next time and all of the brother fall down and the brothers turn into big white mountains and his brothers turned into smaller mountains around him and their waka turned into a long piece of land. Their friends were looking for them and Mokopuna was shouting, once they found the mountains, one of their friends said “this land is no good to live on” and they started to worried about him.

What role is room five taking part in this school production?
Aoraki and the Southern alps.
What props need to be made / completed?
fish, mountains, eels, ducks, trees flowers
How are you making the costumes and other props ? Are you working as a team?
Miss Paton and Mrs Eeles and Mrs kelly have helped room five make their costumes. Mrs Eeles has helped room 5 use expression so the school is interested and likes it, since we are speaking in front of many people. Room 5 has been working as a team to get everything done because it is a big help to Miss Paton .
Do people who are learning their lines need more practice or are they making good progress ?
Yes, I think they are making good progress with their lines and have been practicing lots.
Are actors using both their voices and bodies to show expression ?
Yes, the fish and the mountains and flowers as well as the trees are using much expression with their bodies and their are acting like a real fish , flower and trees and mountain.
What needs to be improved ?
The only thing that needs to be improve is the mokopuna waka.
